Written Answers. - Grant and Mortage Subsidy Payments.

asked the Minister for the Environment the reason a person (details supplied) in Castleblayney, County Monaghan, has not yet received his mortgage subsidy.

The person named has been asked on three occasions to submit a form S.L.4 (tax certificate) completed and certified in respect of his spouse. When this is received, a certificate of approval to the mortgage subsidy will be issued.

asked the Minister for the Environment when a house improvement grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in Bagenalstown, County Carlow.

A final inspection with a view to payment of a grant in this case will be carried out as soon as possible.

520.

asked the Minister for the Environment the reason for the delay in having a second instalment of a mortgage subsidy for a new house paid to a person (Details supplied) in Callan, County Kilkenny, as the application has been made for six weeks.

There is no record in my Department of the receipt of a claim for payment of the second instalmant of the subsidy from the person named. A duplicate claim form has now been sent to him for completion.
