Vol. 350 No. 13

Written Answers. - Tax Collection on Court Orders.

534.

asked the Minister for Finance the total amount of tax awaiting collection on foot of court decrees; and the longest outstanding court decree.

It is assumed that the Deputy's question relates to orders from the Circuit Court and the High Court as well as to decrees from the District Court.

The total amount at present awaiting collection on foot of all court orders is £2,964,592.29.

The longest outstanding order is one lodged with a county registrar on 6 August, 1976 in the amount of £2,483.42.

Payments on account have been received and the balance still outstanding on foot of that order is £276.05.
