Vol. 351 No. 6

Written Answers. - Tallaght (Dublin) By-Pass.

522.

asked the Minister for the Environment if he is aware that the large concentration of traveller families on the dual carriageway in Tallaght represents a hazard to the health of the families themselves and neighbouring residential areas; and if he will make a statement outlining the course of Government action to resolve the present unsatisfactory situation.

I am aware of the problems which exist resulting from the unauthorised dwellings on the Tallaght by-pass. It is the responsibility of Dublin County Council to deal with this matter.
