Vol. 351 No. 8

Written Answers. - Return of Jewellery.

474.

asked the Minister for Finance when the articles of plastic jewellery taken from a person (details supplied) in Dublin 8 by Customs officials for the non-payment of duty will be returned as she has attempted several times to pay the outstanding duty and fines.

I am informed by the Revenue Commissioners that investigations are being carried out in connection with this seizure and that, on completion of these investigations, they will write to the person in question conveying their decision regarding the disposal of the goods.
