Vol. 352 No. 5

Written Answers. - Farm Visits.

283.

asked the Minister for Agriculture if he will consider increasing the financial allocation to ACOT to enable them to reintroduce farm visits by agricultural advisers in view of the serious difficulties created for farmers and the agriculture industry at present.

Farm visits continue to be an essential and integral feature of ACOT's agricultural advisory programme. An increase in ACOT's grant-in-aid for the re-introduction of farm visits does not therefore arise.
