Vol. 352 No. 5

Written Answers. - Cork Public Inquiry.

357.

asked the Minister for the Environment when he proposes to hold a public inquiry on the downstream crossing of the river Lee, Cork.

It would be premature to proceed with this inquiry at this stage. As part of the procedure for evaluating the local authorities' proposal for the crossing, the effects on traffic of the new Bandon Line Road and Custom House Bridges will be monitored and regard had to the growth of business and industry in Ringaskiddy.
