I have not received any recommendation from Donegal County Council for a revision of the speed limit at Gortahork. I understand, however, that Donegal County Council are considering submitting proposals in this connection. If and when such proposals are submitted they will be examined by my Department, in conjunction with other proposals already submitted, with a view to their inclusion in revised speed limit regulations for County Donegal generally.
