Work on the residential hostel attached to the Holy Family School, Cootehill, County Cavan, was completed in November 1983. The question of when the hostel can be brought into operation will depend on the availability of resources for the commissioning of new units of accommodation in the mental handicap service. I am not, therefore, in a position to state at this time when the hostel will open.
