Vol. 352 No. 8

Written Answers. - Sheep Losses.

704.

asked the Minister for Agriculture when the inter-departmental committee's report concerning sheep losses on the Dublin mountains and dog control will be available.

The report of the Inter-Departmental Committee on Dog Control, which covers all aspects of dog control including attacks on sheep and other farm animals, was submitted to me earlier this year. Copies of the report were subsequently circulated to the Departments concerned for consideration and comment. A submission to Government on the question of implementation of the committee's recommendations is now being finalised and I hope to present this to the Government in the near future.
