asked the Taoiseach if employment agencies are being used by his Department to recruit workers on a full-time or part-time basis; if his Department or any semi-State body under the aegis of his Department have used agency staff in the past 12 months and for what grade of worker, that is, manual, clerical, technical; and if he will state in respect of such staff over the last 12 months (a) the name of the agencies, (b) the number of staff hired, (c) the cost per head to the State and (d) the total amount paid by his Department.

Employment agencies are not used in the recruitment of staff by my Department or by the Central Statistics Office or by semi-State bodies under the aegis of my Department.
