Written Answers. - Grant and Mortgage Subsidy Payments.

(Limerick West) asked the Minister for the Environment when a house mortgage subsidy will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Limerick.

Payment of the first instalment of the mortgage subsidy will be made in this case when the applicant submits the claim form duly certified by his lending agency.

(Limerick West) asked the Minister for the Environment when a new house grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Limerick.

The file in this case is with my Department's inspector for investigation. The new house grant will be paid when he confirms that the house is completed and occupied and provided all the other conditions of the grant scheme have been met.

Mr. Coughlan

asked the Minister for the Environment when payment of a £1,000 new house grant will be made to a person (details supplied) in County Donegal.

This grant was paid on 12 November 1984.

617.

asked the Minister for the Environment the present position relating to an application for a reconstruction grant under the old scheme made by a person (details supplied) in County Limerick in 1979.

This application has been refused because, contrary to a condition of the particular scheme, notification of completion of work was not received in my Department by 31 January 1980.
