asked the Minister for the Environment the up-to-date position regarding the proposed Kiltallagh group water scheme in County Kerry; and when he will be in a position to allocate grants for the scheme.
I propose to take Questions Nos. 629 and 634 together. Kerry County Council's proposal to pay a special contribution to the group in respect of increased pipe sizes required by the county council is under examination in my Department. The allocation of grants to enable the scheme to proceed will be considered in the light of the decision on the proposed special contribution.
