The latest information which is available in respect of outflows of profits, dividends and royalties (including associated interest flows) relates to the year 1983 when the figure amounted to £660 million. No sub-annual estimates are available in respect of the year 1984. It is not the practice to give details of the forecast for the balance of payments in view of the uncertainty surrounding individual components.
