Dáil Éireann debate -
Wednesday, 14 Nov 1984

Vol. 353 No. 10

Business of Dáil.

A Cheann Comhairle to facilitate the House and my colleague, Deputy Ahern, can you clarify what the position is? Are we proceeding with normal business until 7 p.m.?

So far as I know, that is the position. I have no information to the contrary.

The standing arrangement is that we begin at 6.30 p.m. debate of a motion tabled by the Opposition and that we are waiving Private Member's Time this evening. The debate is to proceed until 10.30 p.m. this evening.

Question: "That debate on the motion on Irish Shipping Limited begin at 6.30 p.m. and continue until 10.30 p.m., there being no Private Members' Time this evening", put and agreed to.
