Vol. 354 No. 1

Written Answers. - Forestry Workers.

610.

asked the Minister for Fisheries and Forestry if he will make arrangements to employ additional workers in the Tullamore, Edenderry and Kildare regions to look after the forests in these areas where work such as cutting overgrowth and cleaning is required.

The employment of additional forestry workers in these and other areas is being kept under review but the level of recruitment and their deployment will inevitably be governed by availability of funds.
