asked the Minister for Education when sanction will be given for the proposed extension to Castleblayney vocational school, County Monaghan.

The extension proposed for Castleblayney vocational school is at a very early stage of planning. Pending completion of the planning process, I am not in a position to say when tenders may be invited or when construction work may commence.

asked the Minister for Education when sanction will be given for the proposed extension to Beech Hill College, Monaghan.

Documentation relating to the bills of quantities stage of planning of the extension to Beech Hill College, Monaghan, is at present under examination. Pending completion of the planning process and review of the Department's other commitments and priorities, it is not possible to say when approval may be given for the commencement of construction.

A proposed extension of Carrickmacross vocational school has been approved. The planning of the extension is at an early stage. Pending completion of the planning process I am not in a position to say when approval may be given to seek tenders or begin construction.
