asked the Minister for the Environment when he will sanction the Wexford town water supply augmentation scheme; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

Contract documents for stage one of the Wexford town water supply augmentation scheme which were submitted to my Department by Wexford Corporation are at present under technical examination. I am not in a position yet to indicate when a decision on these documents will issue to the local authority.

asked the Minister for the Environment when he will sanction the Fardystown regional water supply scheme for County Wexford; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The preliminary report for the Fardystown regional water supply scheme which was submitted to my Department in August 1984 has been examined and additional technical information has been requested from Wexford County Council. Further consideration will be given to this preliminary proposal on receipt of the information requested.
