asked the Minister for Fisheries and Forestry the total number of fishermen in arrears with their repayments to BIM at 31 October 1984; the total amount of these arrears; the steps that are now being taken to remedy the situation; if he will further state the arrears position under the following headings: under 40 ft., 41 to 50 ft., 51 to 60 ft., 61 to 70 ft., 71 to 80 ft., and over 80 ft; the number of boats to be given in each case; the number of boats up to date in each case; and the percentage up to date.

The following is the information requested by the Deputy: (a) 362. (b) IR£6,196,066. (c) I have received certain proposals from An Bord Iascaigh Mhara regarding repayments under the board's marine credit plan. A final decision on these proposals has not been made. (d) The information requested here by the Deputy is given in tabular form:
