I understand that instruction in woodwork and building construction is available in the Christian Brothers' secondary school, Lismore. With regard to instruction in additional practical subjects such as metalwork and technical drawing, it would not be open to my Department to sanction teachers in excess of the recognised quota for the school for the purpose of making such instruction available.
