Vol. 354 No. 10

Written Answers. - Swords (Dublin) Community College.

798.

asked the Minister for Education when she expects work to commence on the community hall at St. Finian's community college, Swords, County Dublin.

The project for the provision of a physical education hall at St. Finian's community college, Swords, Co. Dublin in respect of which Dublin County Council has agreed to contribute one-third of the cost is now ready to go to tender. However, the County Council has recently advised that arrangements cannot be made for the release of council funds until the plans prepared by my Department's consultants have been approved by the council. These plans have been furnished to the county council and my Department now await the council's response. The question of seeking tenders for the project will be considered when satisfactory arrangements for the payment of the county council's contribution have been agreed.
