Vol. 355 No. 4

Written Answers. - Disabled Person's Allowance.

431.

asked the Minister for Health the reason a disabled person's maintenance allowance has not yet been granted to a person (details supplied) in County Tipperary, who suffers from severe heart disease, has been unable to do any work for the past two years and is just obtaining a supplementary welfare allowance; and if this payment will be made retrospectively to him.

The South-Eastern Health Board has not received an application for a disabled persons maintenance allowance from the person referred to by the Deputy. I have asked the board to forward the person an application form.
