asked the Minister for Agriculture if he will investigate the possibility of making an increased milk quota available to a person (details supplied) in County Limerick; if he is aware that he supplied 31,000 gallons of milk in 1981, 17,000 in 1982 and 18,000 in 1983 and that he had a very serious disease problem in those years.

As the details supplied indicate that this person had higher deliveries of milk in 1981 than in 1983 he would appear to qualify for an additional quota from the national reserve, which I have established to cater for producers whose deliveries in 1983 were affected by disease or other exceptional events. These additional quotas will be allocated shortly.
