Publication of the names of certain categories of tax defaulters was provided for in section 23 of the Finance Act, 1983, and it was specified that the first such publication should relate to the year 1984. I am informed by the Revenue Commissioners that the statutory list for that year is in course of preparation and will be published in Irish Oifigiúil at an early date.
