Vol. 358 No. 5

Written Answers. - County Dublin Bridge.

584.

asked the Minister for the Environment if he will make additional funds available to Dublin County Council to allow for the widening of the existing railway bridge or the construction of a new bridge at Donabate, County Dublin, in view of development talking place there and the proposed expansion of the population of the area.

This bridge is located on a regional road. Accordingly, the planning, execution and financing of improvements to the bridge are primarily a matter for the road authority, Dublin County Council. I understand that, at present, the council have no plans for such improvements.
