Wexford County Council submitted proposals for seven projects under the social employment scheme to the National Manpower Service. The employment potential of these scheme is 184 persons for 52 weeks under the scheme. I understand that four schemes, in New Ross, Gorey, Wexford and Enniscorthy will commence on Monday 20 May. The remaining three schemes in Bunclody, Rosslare Habour and Blackwater should be ready to commence within two to three weeks.
