I have been advised by the Revenue Commissioners that on the basis of the information available to the inspector of taxes, the certificate of tax free allowances, which was issued to the taxpayer in respect of the current year, 1985-86, is correct. The inspector will now communicate directly with the taxpayer requesting him to complete a return of income form for 1985-86.
