Vol. 358 No. 12

Written Answers. - County Donegal National School.

733.

asked the Minister for Education the present position in relation to the provision of a new national primary school at Drung, County Donegal; and when it is expected that tenders will be sought.

My Department, following the receipt of a recent report on enrolment trends in the Drung area of County Donegal from the school inspector has instructed the Commissioners for Public Works to proceed on the basis of a seven classroom school. Planning to date on this school had been based on an accommodation need of six classrooms.

It is not possible, at this stage, to state when the commissioners will be in a position to invite tenders for the project.
