asked the Minister for the Environment the reason a £1,000 new house grant has not yet been paid to a person (details supplied) in County Limerick; when this will be paid; and the amount that will be paid.

This applicant was requested in February 1983 to submit further documentation in connection with his application for a new house grant. When this is received, the file will be referred to my Department's inspector for investigation and report with a view to payment of the £1,000 grant, if in order.

asked the Minister for the Environment the reason a house improvement grant for the provision of a bathroom and extension has not yet been paid to a person (details supplied) in County Tipperary as the work was completed and it is excellently done; when this will be paid; and the amount that will be paid.

Notification of completion of work was recently received in this case and an inspection will be carried out as soon as possible with a view to payment of the grants up to a maximum of £1,000, if in order.

asked the Minister for the Environment when a home improvement grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Clare.

Grants totalling £1,200 in this case were paid on 5 March 1985.
