My Department are at present examining a proposed scheme of improvement works, including dredging, at Roundstone harbour which has been prepared by the Office of Public Works. While the proposed works do not include the provision of a jetty I have arranged to have this proposal considered also.
Pending completion of this examination I am not in a position to say what works, if any, will be necessary in the fisheries interest at Roundstone.
