Vol. 359 No. 4

Written Answers. - Provision of Residential Care.

140.

asked the Minister for Health if he will arrange to have facilities provided for a person (details supplied) in Dublin 12 who is aged 46 years and suffered serious brain damage but who cannot obtain admission to a day-centre for the physically disabled or for brain-damaged adults under 65 years of age, in view of the hardship caused to this person's wife with whom he resides.

I am having this case investigated by the Eastern Health Board as a matter of urgency and I will communicate with the Deputy when this investigation is complete.
