(Dublin North-West) asked the Minister for Finance (a) the total area of office accommodation rented by his Department and unoccupied at present; (b) the rental per square foot for this accommodation; (c) the departmental/semi-State bodies who will occupy these office blocks; and (d) the dates on which it is proposed to occupy each office block.

The total area of office space which is leased by the Commissioners of Public Works and which is unoccupied at present is 83,271 square feet. The present average rental cost in respect of this space is £4.87 per square foot.
As regards the occupation of the space the position is as indicated in the form of a tabular statement which I propose to circulate in the Official Report.
