asked the Minister for Agriculture when he will implement the new EC farm development scheme and provide grants for young farmers.
I propose to take Questions Nos. 355 and 356 together. A new farm investment scheme to replace the farm modernisation scheme is being finalised and will be announced shortly. Pending the finalisation of the scheme it is not possible to give details of any aid which may be made available to young farmers.
