asked the Minister for Labour if his Department has been advised by Irish Shipping Limited, of the number of employees entitled to compensation under section 7 of the Protection of Employees (Employers' Insolvency) Act, 1984, and the appropriate claim falling on the fund.

My Department has not received any application under section 7 of the Protection of Employees (Employers' Insolvency) Act, 1984, in respect of an occupational pension scheme in Irish Shipping Limited (in liquidation) and it has not been advised that such an application will be submitted.
