Vol. 361 No. 4

Written Answers. - Grant Payments.

34.

asked the Minister for the Environment when a house improvement grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Wexford.

The approval of a grant in this case cannot be considered further until the applicant furnishes certain information which was sought by my Department on 9 August 1985. Subject to the issue of approval in due course and the satisfactory completion of the works the question of payment will then be considered.

asked the Minister for the Environment when a new house grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Wexford.

A grant will be paid when an inspection establishes that the house is satisfactorily completed and occupied and that all the conditions applying to the grant scheme have been complied with. Following an inspection in May 1985, the applicant was issued with a list of outstanding works which must be completed before a grant can be paid. In addition, a completed and certified form SL4 (tax certificate) has also been requested. When this form is submitted and when the Department is notified that all works have been completed, a final inspection with a view to payment of the grant will be arranged.
