asked the Minister for Agriculture the percentage increase or decrease in milk supplied to creameries in the 1985-86 quota period, up to the end of September.
Written Answers. - Creamery Milk Intake.
119.
As purchasers of milk have until 15 November 1985 to submit their returns of milk intake for this period, definitive figures are not yet available. However estimated figures indicate that milk supplied to creameries increased by approximately 3.1 per cent over the same period in 1984 or by 7 per cent (2.4 per cent above our quota) over the corresponding period in 1983. As regards deliveries to all purchasers, estimates indicate an increase of about 3 per cent over the same period in 1984 and 6.6 per cent (2 per cent above our quota) over the corresponding period in 1983.
