asked the Minister for Education if she is aware of the very severe overcrowding at Rich Hill national school, Lisnagry, County Limerick; and the plans her Department have for the building of a new school there.

My Department has approved the provision of a new building comprising eight classrooms and a general purposes area for Rich Hill national school, Lisnagry, County Limerick. It is understood that a revised sketch scheme prepared by the school authority's architect is at present being examined by the Commissioners of Public Works, whose report and recommendation are awaited by my Department.
