My Department have always provided an advisory service on afforestation matters to private individuals. Following the recent increased interest in private forestry a total of 18 heads of staff have been deployed from other areas of work in my Department to the advisory service. The position will be kept under review and, if considered necessary, further measures will be taken to augment the service.
