Vol. 363 No. 5

Written Answers. - Newbridge (Kildare) Estate.

30.

asked the Minister for the Environment if he will ensure that the repairs needed to the Dara Park estate in Newbridge, County Kildare, will be carried out this year; and if he will list this estate as one meriting top priority for such repairs.

I have approved in principle Kildare County Council's proposals to carry out a major scheme of remedial works to its houses at Dara Park, Newbridge. The council have been asked to carry out a pilot scheme on a small number of houses in the estate and on completion and evaluation of the pilot stage the allocation of funds for work on the scheme in 1986 will be considered.
