asked the Minister for Defence the proposals he has to improve amenities at Kickham barracks, Clonmel, County Tipperary, especially in respect of maintenance, repair and reconstruction work; and the changes, if any, which are contemplated which might adversely affect the future status and importance of this military establishment.

The following improvements are proposed for Kickham barracks, Clonmel, (a) new exterior lighting, (b) new electrical distribution system, and (c) new toilet and ablution facilities. It is also proposed to initiate planning for the installation of improved heating arrangements. There are no changes intended at this time that might adversely affect the future status and importance of Kickham barracks.
