asked the Minister for Agriculture when headage payments and suckler cow grants will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Galway.

The person named has been paid his cattle headage grants already and will be paid his suckler cow and calf premium grants shortly.

asked the Minister for Agriculture the reason a grant was not approved under the Shannon Basin scheme to a person (details supplied) in County Roscommon.

The applicant was not eligible for aid under the scheme as his income from off farm employment was in excess of the maximum allowed.

asked the Minister for Agriculture the reason a grant was not approved under the Shannon Basin scheme to a person (details supplied) in County Roscommon.

There is no record of an application under the Shannon Valley flood scheme from the person mentioned.

asked the Minister for Agriculture if he will arrange to pay a grant under the farm modernisation scheme to a person (details supplied) in County Cork.

The grant in this case was paid on 17 December 1985. However, the applicant did not receive the payable order and a fresh payment has now been made.
