Vol. 363 No. 11

Written Answers. - County Wicklow Grant Allocations.

63.

asked the Minister for the Environment the total amount of money due by his Department to Wicklow County Council on 31 December 1985 under the roads and sanitary service schemes.

The road grant allocation notified to Wicklow County Council in respect of 1985 was £3.821 millions and this amount was paid in full by my Department within the year. The sanitary services allocation to the council for 1985 towards major schemes was £2,838,500 and was paid in full. The sanitary services small schemes allocation was £228,400 and was not drawn down in full in 1985. However £104,400, the balance of the council's allocation, was paid on 17 January 1986.
