Vol. 364 No. 2

Written Answers. - Tax Arrears.

53.

asked the Minister for Finance if he will request the Collector-General to accept a paying arrangement of £10 per month from a person (details supplied) in Dublin 12, plus £200 State pension which he receives in March 1986, and again in March 1987, off arrears of tax of £671.95 which relate to the years 1980-81 and 1983-84, in view of the fact that he and his wife are now retired persons on fixed incomes.

The arrears of tax were paid on 17 February 1986 so that payment over a period of time does not now arise.
