The question of providing a grant to fund the revenue cost of this centre is a matter in the first instance for the Midland Health Board. The board have indicated that they are not able to make the required funding available and have sought additional funding from the Department. The matter is at present under examination in the Department in the context of other similar demands for extra funding.
