Vol. 365 No. 4

Written Answers. - Sick Pay.

197.

asked the Minister for Agriculture when a person (details supplied) in County Cork, who was employed in his Department, will receive sick pay, as she does not qualify for benefit from the Department of Social Welfare.

Pay has been withheld in this case as the officer has not complied with notification and medical certification requirements. The officer has been absent from duty since 13 January 1986 and, apart from a three week period in respect of which payments have issued, she has not submitted medical certificates in respect of the absence. The position will be reconsidered if valid medical certificates are submitted.
