Vol. 365 No. 4

Written Answers. - School Transport Scheme.

215.

asked the Minister for Education the reason school transport has not yet been provided for a child (details supplied) in County Roscommon who attends Runnamoate national school, County Roscommon, despite a decision in October 1984 to provide school transport for the pupils of the school in question.

Under the terms of the school transport scheme, the pupil in question qualifies for free transport to Castleplunkett national school, which is her nearest appropriate school.

Under the terms of this scheme the pupil would not be eligible for transport to Runnamoate national school. No decision was taken in October 1984 which would allow transport to be provided for this pupil to Runnamoate national school.
