Vol. 365 No. 4

Written Answers. - Rehabilitation Maintenance Allowance.

17.

Mr. Cowen

asked the Minister for Health if he will give details of the numbers of health boards who have had to reduce rehabilitation maintenance allowance payments in their respective health board areas; the amount by which these payments have been reduced; and if he will arrange to allocate moneys to ensure that these payments are restored to previous levels.

There have been no reductions by health boards in disabled persons rehabilitation allowance payments to persons entitled to such allowances. If the Deputy is aware of any particular circumstances in which payments have been reduced, I will have the matter investigated.
