I am considering a proposal in this matter from the ESB, and I am aware of some opposition to it. The proposal would require certain amendments in the Electricity Supply Acts and would, therefore, come before Dáil Éireann. All aspects of the proposal, including any relevant EC requirements, will be taken into account.
