I have been advised by the Revenue Commissioners that the inspector of taxes wrote to the taxpayer on 2 April 1986 for the information necessary to bring his tax affairs up to date. On receipt of the required information, the taxpayer's liability for 1985-86 will be reviewed and any refund found to be due will made.
