asked the Minister for Agriculture the degree, if any, to which the Cork Marts-IMP plant at Leixlip, County Kildare, has benefited from EC grant aid in any form with particular reference to the FEOGA scheme from 1974 to date with amounts for each heading and year; whether such aid is still forthcoming to the Cork Marts group and to what extent; and if he will give an exact breakdown of such grant aid in the case of (a) the Leixlip plant; and (b) the entire Cork Marts group.

It is understood that the Cork Marts — IMP group have been paid grants by FEOGA amounting to £542.145 under Regulations (EEC) Nos. 17/64 and 355/77. Grants amounting to £166.376 have been paid to Irish Meat Producers, Leixlip, under Regulation 17/64. No further grants have been approved by FEOGA for the group.
