Kilkenny County Council have indicated that they will submit an application under the remedial works scheme in respect of this estate on completion of a pilot scheme which is at present being carried out in a similar estate at Newpark Close, Kilkenny. I will be in a position to make a decision on the question of financial assistance when the results of the pilot scheme at Newpark Close have been evaluated.
